FAQ’s

What are the STF Awards?

The Shoot The Frame Awards (STF Awards) are monthly photography contests that have the same 3 themes every month; portrait, landscape and wildlife. Shoot The Frame started in 2012, since then, we have been giving away fantastic prizes and exposing photographers every single month. For each contest theme (portrait, landscape and wildlife), there are 9 finalists, and 1 winner. That means, every single month the STF Awards has 27 finalists, and 3 winners.

The deadline for the 3 monthly contests is the last day of every month. You can see the countdown timer on the home page.

You can submit your photos into the contests on a casual basis ($3 per photo), or you can become a Premium member and enter an unlimited amount of photos into the awards every month for a $7 monthly subscription.
