Bhaskar is an Indian born photographer based at Kolkata, West Bengal. Over the last ten years he has grown with photography each day. It started with shooting almost everything during the initial days, till he discovered the love for freezing the moments of life, and that is only possible when you strongly engage with your subject. Bhaskarloves travelling around and exploring the streets, interacting with people and knowing their lives and freezing the right moment that tells the story. Currently he is working on the assignment “In Search of Faces”.
Bhaskar’s photographs have been exhibited in 24 countries so far. Some of his photographs and articles have been published in National geographic, Deccan Chronicle and Indian Express, Asian photography magazine.
He has been awarded with the AFIAP distinction by Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique (France) in 2012, FFIP distinction by Federation of Indian Photography in 2013 and AICS distinction by the Image Colleague Society, USA in 2016 for his photographic work.
