SaltyGirls

SaltyGirls was a project about women living with Cystic Fibrosis. CF is a fatal, genetic disease that mainly affects the lungs and other organs, with a medium life expectancy of just over 40 years. Of the 72 women that were photographed for this project, 27 have since passed away, any in these photos.

I am a photographer who also has CF, and this project was an extension of my first CF-related photo essay called “”Just Breathe””, with focused on adults with CF.
