Somewhere in BC

My day out backcountry skiing this year. I was in heaven. Having young kids and working makes it hard to find time and organize time with others to get out into the mountains. I used to ski every weekend and every day off I could manage and it's where I am most at home, in and on the mountains, exploring, getting up high, seeing what's around the next ridge, and getting as close to a bird's eye view of the land as I can with my own two feet. There is nothing more gratifying than skiing out where no one else is. Every slope a clean slate for making my mark, and, in the long run, leaving no trace.
