Else and Jon

Else and Jon are lovers and this photography is taken in Jons studio in Århus, Denmark during the summer. On the photography she is still in chemotherapy for breastcancer, and after that she is having radiation treatment and an operation. Else was in 1971, only 10 years old, operated for a cancer tumor in her brain , and reoperated in 1973 because not all the cancer was gone. In 2002 she was involved in a car accident which resulted in a skull fracture, 2 strokes, violation of the 3 upper neck vertebraes and 17 days in induced coma. The physical consequences of these events is still very visible on her skull.
