The Ethereal Spell Of The Fleeting Frost (3)

All the images in this series were taken over the span of two days when the most unusual spell of frost descended over the world around me. It lasted over a couple of days here in the north of Ireland, and it was as if it had somehow transformed the forests and woods here into a completely different ethereal realm. There was the most incredible blanket of calm presiding over all of nature whilst it lasted. I’ve never encountered a lingering frost that stayed entirely over a couple of days other than this other than this in my 10 years as a nature photographer.
