Hibiscus

I met Bonnya last month at an exhibition. Of the numerous faces in the exhibition hall, she is the only one who attracts me. Her hair, brown skin tone, and lastly her eyes. I asked her for a photo shoot and surprisingly she agrried. We did the shoot and this portrait is the outcome of that. In Indian mythology, gods are associated with specific flowers. The hibiscus belongs to Kali, a manifestation of primordial energy. She represents empowerment, and with that, admittedly, comes destruction, making her a fierce goddess.
