San Pedro de Atacama, Chile: Departure in the morning at 5:00 am to see the Tatio geysers (the 3rd largest geyser field in the world) at 4320 meters at sunrise after a 2-hour drive on bumpy dirt roads. . . 10 degrees below zero to be able to observe the steam properly. . . but it was more than worth it. . .
