I hate photos of myself. I always have. Though I love photography and I especially love photos of people, even if I rarely capture those photos myself. Throughout 2020, I've been itching to continue photographing things, portraits of places, but our options are limited these days. I've been pushing myself to attempt self portraits on film, and each time I get a new set of scans back, I see myself a little differently. Whether I'm capturing a feeling, or a shape in my body I've never noticed before, I'm slowly opening up and feeling happy about really seeing myself.
