Odd One Out

Photographed by Andy Pollard

In winter/spring, both King Penguin parents will have to go to sea, in order for them to feed the large chicks. The result is a large creche of chicks, with the occasional adult penguin clearly standing out from the crowd. I spent two days and approximately 12 visits to the colony, looking for the opportunity to capture this image.
