The Power of The Hole

El Bufadero is a natural blow hole located on the north east coast of Gran Canaria and one of about 12 locations on my list to photography during a family trip in February 2022. I arrived about 5am and spent nearly 45mins scouting out the best place to set up. What you don't see from this picture is how dangerous and slippy the rocks are between the blow hole and the shore, especially in the pitch black. Once I found the best place to capture the blow hole I set up and settled in for the hour or so before sunrise. Being so close and on my own was a little nervy but my attention and focus was to capture the magnificence and power of the water being sucked into the hole.
