Finalist Landscape · August 2022
Truckin'
Monsoon season is coming to a close, but we still have a month or two left of Milky Way and as it turns out, the first clear night we had corresponded to a moonless night. The Milky Way is visible as soon as it's dark (in dark sky areas) and I thought it might look pretty neat looking at it from Arizona Hwy 89 towards the mountains across the valley. A truck passed by as I was shooting, and I liked the contrast of man vs nature so I kept it.
