In the Clearing

Come the Fall, she will launch into her future as an academic and division one basketball athlete at Princeton. She is fierce, ready to conquer and become. But she is also tremendously kind. The world needs who she is made to be. Her striking pose in the clearing of the creek then becomes a mere metaphor for standing in the clearing between the chapter closed and the one that is to come.
