Finalist Wildlife · March 2022
Rough green snake
Being a wildlife photographer was tough in the beginning of the pandemic. Little to no traveling made me focus on all the animals in my backyard for quite a while. This was one of the gorgeous rough green snakes (Opheodrys aestivus) that made its way through my yard. Even in midst of a lockdown, there was never a shortage of wildlife to shoot if you looked close enough.
