Combatting breast cancer.

For the past five months, María Teresa has been battling breast cancer. During this time, she has learned that cancer does not define her; she remains the same person she was before the diagnosis. Nothing has changed her essence. However, she will not be the same after overcoming cancer. María Teresa expresses gratitude for all the people who have offered their support and demonstrated empathy. She has developed the patience and discipline necessary for her healing journey, discovering her resilience and inner strength. So far, her progress is positive. María Teresa wants to contribute by encouraging other women to undergo timely relevant studies so that they can have the same chance of success she has had. Early detection of cancer leads to a higher chance of cure.
