Photographed by Ercin Erturk

A female member of the Ukrainian Army's 128th Carpathian Mountain Assault Brigade's Yevgeniya attended a training session near a sunflower field in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, in July 2023. The training session welcomed over sixty thousand women, including military press officers, health specialists, and psychologists. Ukraine has vast fields of sunflowers and is an important player in Europe's agriculture.
