The Perfect Storm

I was lucky enough to witness this rainbow on the coast of New Zealand. Rainbows happen when the air is filled with rain drops and you always see a rainbow in the opposite direction of the sun. I'd just spent the night camping out. I woke up at sunrise that morning in the anticipation of capturing a seascape during sunrise. Unfortunately, you cannot always predict what type of conditions mother nature is going to throw your way. And on this particular morning, she decided to raise hell, with grey and hellish storms, which resulted in a fury of dark clouds and a evident rain storm. However after ten minutes of trying to find shelter, my clothing drenched, it stopped. And what came next was breathtaking, as a rainbow began to form and the sun now bidding me good morning.
