Peak District Perseverance

I woke up early to capture the sunrise over the peak district valley. There were about ten photographers when I arrived so I grabbed my spot and waited. unfortunately the sun did not show for the party as it was completely blocked out by the clouds. One by one the other photographers began to leave. I decided to stay and soak in the valley below. After an hour or so there were only two of us left. As we sat in silence as the clouds began to break. I said to the other photographer "you think its going to happen"? and at that moment the sun burst through the clouds and we were off clicking away. Like two children we were running around capturing all the shots we had in our head and and as quick as it started the sun was gone again. One of my best experiences as a photographer. Persistence paid off.
