Jenga Rock

Last weekend I made a trip to an area on the Mogollon Rim between Flagstaff and Sedona colloquially referred to as, "The Edge of the World". It's pretty easy to see how it got that name as you look over the 1,000 foot drop into Sycamore canyon below, Sedona on the horizon. My buddy and I wanted to do a "blue hour blend" (blue hour is just after sundown) of the famous Jenga Rock and the Milky Way, so we arrived just in time to catch the last rays of sunlight illuminating the rock. The serene scene belies the utter chaos of taking photos whilst perched on a 4' deep ledge with our 3 dogs seemingly hell-bent on knocking our gear (or us) off the cliff. 🤣 This image is 1 foreground shot and 6 sky images, each 20 seconds long. I use a Sony A7RIV camera and Tamron lenses.
