Busy bee - colour version

It was very late summer and the weather is heading towards Autumn. The bees are still flying around looking for pollen and nectar when they can. I found this little one in a squash flower working hard. It flew from flower to flower and being very active. I only had seconds to take the close-up shot before it flew to another one. The photo I choose out of the shots is this one. It focus on the head of the bee, particularly the eyes, the antenna and the mandible with very nice details. Things that I would never able to see with normal eyes because it's so small. I love the details of the image and just the plain single yellow colour tone overall. I also convert to black and white to a sort of a high key photo where the black colour emphasizes the eyes, the antenna even more. I like both of the styles.
