A Pheasants Evening Amble

My in-laws live in rural Scotland, surrounded by farmers fields and a plethora of bird life that visit the garden to bathe in the bird bath, or feast on nuts from the feeders. I love to pitch my camera at the door and take a break from the reality of cooperate life to enjoy the peace of the countryside. This image was captured on a spring evening as the sun highlighted the rich colours of the pheasants feathers as it was out in the field looking for a mate.
