Never Look Back

I was recently living in Australia. In an amazing ecovillage founded on a vision of living consciously with each other and with nature. Over 200 acres were dedicated to remain natural - which blessed us with the most beautiful native wildlife interactions. I was attempting to get a nice silhouette of this Eastern Grey Kangaroo, when it started to hop off into the sunset. I rattled off several frames and was thrilled when I found this perfectly timed tippee toe shot. Kangaroos symbolize moving forward even when you don't know what lies ahead. This is one of my all-time favorite images...in so many ways.
