Head In The Clouds

Similar to my first submission, this photo is really focused on the idea of quiet contemplation. My composition for this photo is split into thirds, defined by a beautiful mixture of textures that transition from the jagged, contrasting rock face to bright swirling clouds and moves into the stunning blue sky in the background. The subject placed in the center of the shot is my cousin Mark. He is my best friend and one of the deepest, most intentional thinkers that I know. He is unbelievably warm and welcoming in conversation with people but is a natural introvert. This shot is one of my favorites which I have taken because it is such a cool snapshot into the peace that this wonderful person finds in the quiet moments.
