Biarritz is an elegant seaside town on southwestern France's Basque coast. It's also a major surfing destination, with long sandy beaches and surf schools. All the landmarks in this photo exist, but the composition of this landscape, like a faded memory, it's not real. This postcard exists only in my imagination.
