Finalist Wildlife · March 2021
FELPAS
After a long hours walking in the Patagonian mountains, down south in Argentina, I had finally given up. I could not find any deers nearby that I could photograph. I decided to sit under a tree and rest for a while after the long walk. I suddenly heard some noises behind my back, between some bushes. When I turned my head back there was this majestic animal looking closely at me, very still. I slowly put up my camera and gently took the picture. I thought the deer was going to run away from me, but instead, he stayed. He was as into the encounter as I was.
