Giraffe at Blue Hour

This image was taken at an overnight hide at Zimanga Private Game Reserve in KZN, South Africa. This big guy was also my first subject to visit the watering hole that night after sunset. Being barely 2 meters away from it, hearing every single sip he took as the water flowed up his long neck, was truly one of the greatest experiences thus far in the African bushveld. So happy to have been able to capture it perfectly symmetrical as he took his time to drink before graciously strolling away.
