Balance of the Ocean

I came across this unique rock while hiking a trail to Survival Beach in Puerto Rico. The rock seemed to be balancing on the water when the tide was just right. I knew I had to return to this spot at sunrise & hope for some color. This hardest part about this shot was dealing with the rising tide, waves crashing & spraying salt water on my camera, and balancing myself on a rock during the long exposure. I managed to get the shot without getting completely drenched and was very happy with the final edit. As I was shooting this beautiful location I contemplated the balance of the ocean, the tides, & currents. I hope to one day find the balance in life that nature always seems to have.
