Geminid Meteor and Mars Castlerigg Stone Circle
I thought Castlerigg stone circle would make a good location to try and capture some of the Geminid meteor shower in December 2022 as facing East it gave me a great foreground and it wasn't too far from home. It was freezing cold and I took over 500 shots and amazingly I managed to capture a lone Geminid meteor along with Mars in the starry sky which made suffering the extreme cold so worthwhile!
