King Penguin portrait
Rain, sleet and blowing snow almost prevented our zodiac landing at St. Andrews Bay in South Georgia, but I am so happy that it didn't! There were thousands of King Penguins competing for space with fur seals, petrels, cormorants and elephant seals. It was snowing hard. I saw this wise penguin calmly contemplating life and he posed for me as the snow gathered on the top of his head.
