Pretty in Pink

Photographed by Pam DeChellis

Well it rained all morning at Huntington Beach State Park SC and I was disappointed, but persistent in my search for the perfect shot of the beautiful delicate spoonbill. After hours in the rain, the sun peeked from behind the clouds and this spoonbill began to preen- shaking the water off and fixing its feathers. It allowed for this and many other Pretty in Pink shots!
