Three Stooges

Three Stooges was captured on Folly Beach at the county park end of the beach. As the tide was going out, I was watching the sanderlings speed along the ocean's edge, back and forth with the ebb and flow of the water. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw a bunch of these little guys hanging out on some rocks. As the water splashed over the rocks they would jump to a higher rock to avoid getting wet. Well...except for the "Three Stooges," who remained on these rocks as the ocean splashed around them. For the best lighting, I had to actually get in the water and knelt down to their level to get the best capture. Needless to say I got wet!! But it was well worth it for this fun shot of the sanderlings playing on the rocks!
