Morning is the best time to catch some action of the Onaqui Mustangs. These guys came in with the rest of the herd (about 60 horses in total) and started sparring about 100 yards out from my location. Occasionally these mustangs can have a full-on battle for dominance and it can get brutal and bloody, but often they will just spar for a few minutes to keep up their strength and skill. This was the case with these stallions. It was a beautiful and memorable experience to witness!
