Meerkat family

In my Namibia trip this year, I think it was the only day I did a solo sunrise mission🌅 It was my first chance to see meerkats in their natural habitat. I woke up early (like every day on these trips 🤗) and set out to find them. I spent 30 minutes walking without success - I only saw rhino tracks and the sun had already risen. Then, suddenly, I saw a guide with four tourists standing in the distance and decided to see what they were looking at. And yes, they were right at a meerkat burrow 🥹🙏 This way, I could watch them gradually emerge from the burrows, searching for food (worms, insects), warming themselves with the first rays of light, and playing among themselves. This is Africa, this is Namibia.🇳🇦💛
