Ephemeral Dusk Over the Desert

As the sun sets over the dunes of Djanet in the Algerian Sahara, the sky ignites in a fleeting display of colour, painting the desert with hues of violet, rose, and gold. The timeless rock formations stand in silent witness, their weathered edges shaped by centuries of wind and solitude. This moment is ephemeral—lasting mere minutes before twilight claims the sky—but in that brief window, the desert feels alive, breathing in the soft light of dusk. It is a reminder that even in the most remote landscapes, nature composes its own masterpieces, unrepeatable and unforgettable.
