Ballet Moves

One of my favorite places to photograph birds is Cypress Wetlands in Port Royal SC. It is a rookery with a walking trail around and allows a great but distant view of these magical creatures while they are breeding. This snowy egret, decked out in breeding plumage delicately flies from its perch - this is a rare graceful dance from the snowy who is usually quite erratic in its movement.
