Floating on Air

During a recent trip to Scotland, I was trying to capture the area around the Old Man of Storr from less common viewpoints. This particular day, it had been raining and was just clearing up. I headed over the this lake hoping to do some scouting for a good photo spot when I realized the conditions were brilliant. There was absolutely no wind creating a glass surface to the lake, almost making the boats appear as they were floating in mid air. The boats were ever so slowly rotating in the water and as I was walking I stopped and turned around to check the view and realized the boats were all facing the same direction pointing direcly at the Old Man of Storr! Within a couple miunutes the boats had moved again and the composition had changed. I felt ever so fortunate to be able to capture this moment!
