Sunset in Heaven
In late winter I had the opportunity to visit Mt Shasta area. I drove out to Lake Siskiyou and was blessed with some fantastic side light on the mountain and as time went on a beautiful sunset sky. This is a composite time-blend image, one for the light on the peak and one for the sky. I believe the combination creates a very compelling image. I find the scene both inspiring and calming, almost a surreal peaceful air to it.
